Happy Days in the sun.

Well finally it came out and blarred down on London for a wee while anyway. A friend is a alcohol rep and so we felt it only polite to go and have cocktails in the sun all afternoon with him. Mmm. Yeah happy days. Spent sun back on it with Cara up north where we had a lovely Barbie, NZ Sauvignon Blanc, and sunshine. Bliss. Here are a few pics. Things are mental busy here. Trying to keep it all together and stuff and things. xxxxoooo

Some pics from late...

A street party the next street over and toast New Zealand (six and a half thousand kiwis in a field, with all NZ wine and food and lots of rain.) Of course we all drunk far to much, which proved interesting on the train home, mud all up my legs and looking a right treat...what else..well you know, settled into London now. It feels more like home, (well different kind of home) love it. Spent sunday strolling down the Thames, went to the Tate Modern, had lunch in the sun. Hard life. It really is not long now till I am home it is gonna fly by whee!! Have Harry Potter sitting next to me trying to resist the urge to read at work...and yeah that's about it really. Will right more soon super busy this week hope all is well in New Ziland eh? Love you guys. And miss you. So much. The phone bill will be MASSIVE this weekend (thanks Leon - who thought it be funny to pass me around the entire flat while I had no idea and kept talking!) Happy days.

And some...

Live Earth

So...Wembley Stadium, 70 000 people, sunshine, amazing music and beer. Pretty magic. Sorry to all those kiwis I woke up to gloat - but really can you blame me?! We had amazing seats - don't know how I managed that, no queues for the toilet (thank gosh - after all the beer), and an amazing view of the crowd and the stage. Ahh it was wicked. Happy days in London. ahhhhhhh!! xxxxoooo

Post rain and the next night.

Crowded House before the rain.

Hype Park Calling.

Madrid

June

Well I have been really slack at writing I know, life is so busy it seems. Well I have spent the last hour or so glued to my computer screen, on paniced phone calls to Stuart and then Dad as I watched the little animated version of NZL 92 zoom around the course and then that final 2 SECONDS!!! Gutted! ;-( So that over with, I thought I would touch base.

Hello my little NZ friends and family!! How I miss you all! June was mental. I will uupload some pics. Lots of music and lots of rain!! There are some pics of Madrid where I went the weekend before Venice ( to see Pearl Jam) and then Hyde Park Calling - a weekend festival in Hyde Park (obviously) where we watched Crowded House on the first day (way to make you home sick) and then Aerosmith and Chris Cornell on the second. I don't know what is is with us and festivals but where ever we go the rain follows. You'll see from the pics Mel and I found a very stupid solution to this. haha.

Crowded House were amazing - we were 2 people from the front, in the rain, absolutely drenched, singing to our hearts content. Lots of love, lots of kiwis and all very cool. Especially when the entire park sung a verse Four Seasons in One Day by themselves (I have a vid, magic).

Then Chris Cornell - well Hellllllllllllllllllo!!!! Delicious to say the least, especially when he brought out his babies - every girl in the audience went mush. And Aerosmith true rock and roll. Very funny and very cool. Especially since they are nearly 60 odd.

What else well - went to see Fat Freddy's drop last Wednesday and that was amazing. The entire place went off. And this weekend I am off to Live Earth at Wembley - that is Madonna/Foo Fighters/Beastie Boys/Chillis/Snow Patrol/Keane and loads more. Wheeeee!! Plus Nicole and Mark are here to visit so that will be nice.

The weather is poos man the clouds out my window are crazy they are grey and look like something outta day after tomorrow. Pretty amazing view from the 9th floor in Canary Wharf. Although after the Tornado I swear I am more scared of the weather than ever.

Mmmmm. Anyway off to face the rain, love you guys so much. Here are some pics.

Miss you.
