Bonjourno my lovelies.

I am lying in bed, and have had no sleep last night so excuse the writing...might be a bit shoddy. Thought I drop a quick note to say hi (to those sweeties who read this...) and what I have been up to, I know I have been slacker than when I arrived at keeping in touch, sorry! It is all rather busy boo at the mo. To the point that my nerd alert friend has had to make a spread sheet of our social life as I keep double booking over trips etc..ha. Oh life is tough. In saying that I did feel a little homesick yesterday, the sun is shining here and it reminds me of NZ, sunblock and days piling in the car and heading up to a beach. However I quickly recovered, think it was more tirdness from the crazy week that has been.

Returned from Spain and it has been 100 miles ever since! Went to my first West End show this week, Avenue Q - a musical with the characters as muppets, it was like sesame street southpark styles and we were all in stiches. Truly hilarious. Brilliantly written and so very funny. So that was wicked. It was Mel's 30th so there was a crew and she has somehow managed to make it the most dragged out celebration in the world (hence the no sleep last night).

We headed out for what was a very sophisticated dinner in Covent Garden, in the most amazing Turkish restaurant, fairylights and balconies and music oh I can't decsribe it, tres cool and very delicious. There was a group of us, great bunch, and it was all rather elegant...that was of course until we left and the vodka began to flow and the dancing began and carried on till this morning. When we all collapsed at about 7am. After finally negioating our way back to Brixton, looking delightful I must say... it was off to the common to enjoy the sun with some other friends. Bliss. I refuse to let no sleep make me miss a sunday in the sun.

Anyway a week of work is calling must go put this wee head on a pillow. I miss you. I love hearing you tales so keep them coming. Love the fact you can be so far away and still keep in touch so easily. Kia Kaha people.

I love you Keisha.

Barcelona.

OMG! I don't know where to start. So here goes...I flew outta London on Saturday after a few beers (which made the airport very interesting)..and straight to Barcelona to meet Brooke and Sarah who were flying in from Morocco. After them arriving late, and me thinking I was gonna have to negotiate Spain alone they came through the gates. Soooooooooo amazing to see friends from home. Lots of squealing and shrieking later we hopped on a bus and made our way to our accomodation. Located right near the city, on the water, was our boat that we were staying on (yes that is right, a boat). It was the most amazing setting docked in the jetty, surrounded by sea..we were in absolute paradise. We dumped our stuff and then headed to get some tea (it was like 2 in the morning)...got pita pockets with what the dude descibed as "sexy chilli" on them and headed back to bed. We awoke to the sun, fresh fruit and yoghurt on the deck and all around yummy ness. ahhhhhhhhh. If only I could describe the beauty of it all.

We jumped on a bus and spent the next 2 days site seeing and hanging in the sun. The architecture blew us all away I think...it was truly inspiring to see Gaudi buildings before you...standing in the Sagrada Familia I was actually so taken aback, I said outloud "WOW" at the top of my lungs much to the amusement of the american tourist behind me. Brooke got lost, I took about a thousand photos and Sarah had the brochure and was teaching us all about it. Hilarious.

That night we headed out for Sangria and paella, in a little restaurant on the water front, equiped with people playing violins and accordians. Bloody marvelous. Then headed for vodka on the deck, as the sun set. Where we had the most hilarious chat with the lady who lives on it. She was a Tarot card reader from Scotland I think and informed us when her very straight partner was under deck, that "she was secretly a witch". Brooke was like "A what!??!!! hahahha you can just imagine us all trying to keep it together so funny! Brooke then spent the rest of the trip trying to convince us that we needed to steal a broom off the boat so we could say we had a witches broom stick.

What else - we spent the day at the Park Guell overlooking the city, checked out the Olympic Stadium, ate heaps, visited Gaudi's place, drunk far to much last night and sang all along the boulavard, made a very expensive call home to Leon singing down the phone, bought loats of books, painted a wall, walked over bridges, giggled and chatted loads. It really was absolute magic. There were a few tears at the airport today as I bid them bon voyage and realised just how much I miss and love all of you back home.

Here are some piccies..living the dream. Words just don't do it justice. Truly.

More worky piccys...

It has been the craziest busiest mental week. But we got through it and are really happy girls.

At work.

Cara and I recently did a campaign where to promote a travel auction site, where people go and bid for great hol deals. The whole thing is that they need to bid in time before someone else does and the package is theirs. We had the Statue of David made to represent Florence out of birdseed, so that birdies would eat him and he would dissapear. Very cool, we also ambushed the tubes with guys carrying palm trees/greek coloumns and cactus's, dragged a hawker stall behind a tuk tuk all round London and had a Mexican band in paddington station. Happy Days.

The next day dear me :-)

Cara and I on our way to work the next day feeling rather sore - thankfully due to it been easter we got the afternoon off. Yay!

Ad Awards - Dorchester Hotel Darling Park Lane.

Me and my writer Cara hit the ad awards with Ogilvy. Drunk far too much bubbly and made sure that we were the loudest people in the room (bloody kiwis) haha. Why I feel the need to pull such stupid faces is beyond me. haha
